Porsche Brooklands onboards INDICATA to support used car pricing
INDICATA’s used car pricing and insights platform has proven its worth to Porsche Brooklands over the past few months when used prices have changed daily.
The Surrey-based Porsche-approved service centre and used car dealer buys and sells across the UK, so having INDICATA support the process of pricing part exchanges and retail cars in the recent used car climate has been precious.
“With the speed the used market has been moving for the past five or six months, we have been able to act quickly to ensure we are competitive within the wider market, thanks to the INDICATA platform,” said Rob Newton, Porsche Brooklands Sales & Business Manager.
“We are constantly reviewing stock and prices, and INDICATA enables us to investigate what the local and national market is selling used cars for. It gives us another set of eyes to see how our pricing compares to similar cars in the market.
“We can stock cars up to 13 years of age, and INDICATA supports my 20 years’ experience with the brand. It also gives us a helicopter view of new models entering the used market,” he explained.
Porsche Brooklands has been a service centre since 2008. Its stock includes up to 50 used cars, which are available to view online at www.porschebrooklands.co.uk. Approved Porsche Centres like Brooklands buy and sell cars nationally in the Porsche used market.
“In the past few weeks, we have bought a car in Glasgow and sold cars to customers in Bolton and Exeter. We have been a family-owned business for over 40 years and provide a very personal service to customers who continually buy and sell used Approved Porsche.
